Last year I had a 2006 Chevrolet 4x4 LBZ diesel. The truck weighed 7400 lbs and even with new tires did not perform well on ice and snow. Absolutely incredible every other way though although very expensive to maintain. This year I downsized to a 2004 Dodge 2500 4x4 with the gas engine and it has performed flawlessly in the freak snow and ice storm we have got recently in Texas. I am thoroughly surprised and impressed. I was not a Dodge person but other than the abysmal fuel mileage, I have been converted to Dodges bigger trucks.

Great to hear your happy with the all weather performance . Last year when the Mid Atlantic area got clobbered with the 3 blizzards , I was extremely impressed with the ability to be one of the only vehicles capable of getting around .
