Default E3 Spark Plugs

Anybody running E3 spark plugs in their 08 4.7L Flex Fuel. I would bet not because parts stores don't have a part number for them. But if you are looking to try them out, you can. Cross reference Bosch part #s 4308, 4428 & 4508 and you can use E3.54 plugs. I have been thinking of trying them out, but it will be expensive.

I posted the same question in the 4.7 magnum forum and no one is using them and I assume its because of $6.00 per plug price times 8 cylinders! I was told to stick with the OEM plugs and the opinions figured it was not worth the price to " light a fire in a hole " so to speak! Just a little F.Y.I. and opinion!

Don't know about the 4.7 but I know with the 5.7 there not good, There's been way to many reports not saying good things about them. Dodge does a good job with the OEM plugs.

IMO, plugs with oddball electrode designs are just a gimmick. After trying a couple of different designs (think Accel u-groove and Splitfire) in my drag car some years ago, I can say I didn't even pick up .010 of a second in the 1/4 mile. They're a waste of money if you ask me. I went back to NGK and they are the only plugs I use in my truck, atv, lawnmower or anything else with a gas burning engine.

I tried them in my 2002 4.7 and DID NOT like them at all. I actually lost MPG, and did not notice any performance gain. Put Autolite plugs in, no real change. I am going back to Champion plugs at next oil change. At one time I was nailing down 18.5 MPG on the highway, 15 city. Now cannot get above 14.5 no matter where/how I drive.
