Thanks for all the replies,. I haven't gotten around to doing anything with mine yet as I don't put many miles on my truck. Too cold here(no heat in my garage) to worry about it now anyway. but will gather up the parts I need in the meantime.

Same here. There's no need to replace the plate, especially when you have the updated gasket that WON'T fail a year after replacing it.

You can definitely save yourself some money by just doing the gasket and hardware .

I just did Mine last month. I only changed My gaskets and Works great. No need for changing plates. Mine has quit using oil and gas like it did and it has regained some lost power. Very happy with it, but it was a two day job to do so.
