Default How do I disable the rear sliding window.

Hello everybody, I was having the same issue with the leaking seams at the rear sliding window that a lot of other folks were having and instead of replacing window after window I just sealed the hell out of it but would like to disable the button in case somebody hits it and opens the window and breaks the seal. Is there a fuse for it that I can pull or is there another easy way to disable it. Thanks for any help. I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500.

You could put some black tape over the button.

Put the tape on while the truck is off.

If I remember correctly the button for the rear window is on the center of the dash...

If you can gain access, try to unplug the harness from the button. I think gaining access will be the hard part, removing the harness from the button should only take a couple of seconds.

good luck and keep us updated
