Default Battery replacement in key fob??

Guys- tried searching but 'fob' and 'key' words aren't long enough for search.

I have a 2010 Ram 1500 and the fob doesn't seem to work well any more... since I don't want to break the fob- can someone tell me how to replace the battery? What battery does it use?

Thanks!

OK- did a google search and found some information on this. The key fob can be popped apart easily once your remove the internal key. Just pry it apart carefully with that little notch next to the hole the key goes in. Once you do that replacing the battery which is a CR2032 is pretty simple. Initial results seem promising... I hope that's all it was....

Another option is to stop the parts dept at the dealer and have them replace it.

Check out this YouTube link that shows you how to open your fob.

It is actually pretty easy once you see it. Hope this helps.
