sticking a volt meter in the tps connection with the truck off and ignition on, loosen the 2 screws on the tps, they are t20 or t25 torx bits. turn the tps until the number on the volt meter is as high as you can get it. i think its as close to 3 as possible. i got mine to 2.6.

ok i know exactly what to do with what you are taliking about but wouldnt that open up the TB a little farther at idle and decrease your gas mileage. maybe im just too tired from a 10 hour day at work but.....i think i confused myself......

ok what does tuneing the tsp do for the truck as in hp, torque, and MPG?

This mod is supposed to add hp & torque. Some people swear by it and claim noticeable gains. I tried it on my truck and I didn't have much luck.

redneck, it doesnt increase rpm's or open the throttle. and from what i could tell it has no affect on your milage. just gives you better throttle response.

somethin better than that is seafoam. doing that, if your throttle response is good now, it will be better after that. also, your throttle cable is probably stretched out. you can get a cable clamp from lowes and pull your gas pedal all the way out and put it on the cable right by the pedal. because more than likely your gas pedal isnt opening your tb all the way. i did that to mine also, and even with 35's, it woke up my engine alot.

Hey there 984 on that cable clamp how does it look? Do you have a pic? Also this might sound dumb but when you mean pulling gas pedal out you mean up correct? Sorry just wanted to clarify.

well guys so far nothing has been done to my ram. money has been so tight and i have been putting in 40+ hours at work. so here is a question for y'all.......how big is your gas tank? when i was looking online, it said i had a 26 gallon tank. but i cant seem to figure out where the other 6 gallons go when i fill it up from 1/8 of a tank it only takes 18 gallons. if i did my math right that is 20 gallons.

also another question for ya...... what is the gas prices around ya. michigan just went up to 3.89 a gallon and is expected to go up to $4.00 a gallon by next week. it really sucks but at least i got a motorcycle to ride on the nice days.
