Default True Dual Exhaust

Does anyone have a true dual exhaust setup done on their truck? I have been debating on doing this. Currently I have 2 into 1 (flowmaster) with 2 coming out the back of the muffler. I have been debating on doing a true dual setup with like an X or H pipe. Anyone have extensive exhaust knowledge or what's your thoughts on this type of setup vs. the current 2 into 1, 2 out setup? Thanks.

There is a 2009, or 2010....blue color. He has a tuner and some other basic stuff. I hate straight pipe sound, but he likes it..Look for it in the exhaust section...he has a video too. X pipe for top end HP and H is better for torque. I think

You will lose some torque. True duals are for race cars, not every day trucks. A single exhaust will make better torque and flow more than enough for a stock ish level engine. Get a better Y setup and a good muffler, doesn't get much better, cheaper or mo-better I got mine done by a drag racer / exhaust shop owner and he said best way to do it is the way he did it on mine!

Like it was said before with straight exhaust on these trucks there wont be any back pressure and you'll lose a little bit on the bottom end.
From putting exhaust on at my cousins dealership I personally think an H pipe with a chambered muffler(flowmaster super 40, hooker aerochamber etc) while give you the best sound and performance.
AN x pipe will give better performance gains but I'm not crazy about the sound (to exotic car sounding to me).
