Post H&S Mini maxx and 5" Turbo Back shopping

I am new to this forum and to the cummins. I have been searching for a few weeks but have not been able to find exact answers to my questions.

So here goes:

I Just bought my 6.7. I am looking to increase the mpg's by deleting dpf and egr. I am leaning toward H&S mini maxx for egr turn off, on demand tuning, and gauges. Also looking at 5" turbo back exhaust with muffler. I am curious as to MPG's with this combo (I am mostly a conservative driver) and if any one knows a good place to order this stuff as I am always looking for the best deal.

Thanks for all information and help.....

I recomend the H&S minimaxx. Having the guages and on demand tuning is awesome.
After driving a 6.7 before and after a dpf delete, the power difference is pretty impressive, sounds much better and mpg is comparable to 5.9s.
I'm not a fan of how 5" exhaust sound and theres no need for it unless your running over 500-550 hp.
They say the stock transmissions can handle the "hot damn" 175 hp but you have to basically baby it and know when you can really get on it. The clutch starts slipping with the "mild" 30hp tune.
H&S tuners have alot of other cool software too. I like being able to keep the foglights on with high beams.
I wish they made tuners for 5.9s
Check out the H&S website and there forums and you might be find a good deal. It'll pay for itself between better mpg's and all the saved trips to the stealership in limp mode.

Welcome to the Z! I'm a bit of a diesel junkie, so I'll chime in. I second the MiniMAXX for the 6.7L if you're looking to delete the EGR, DPF, and tune it nicely. Some of the tuned 6.7L are getting around 25-30MPGs on the conservative tunes, and the bet I've heard has been 34MPG using a small N2O shot to keep the turbo spooled in conjunction with a H2O/methanol injection.

Right now The forum isn't letting me upload my photos because the file is too big. I will get it up later tonight. As of now I have no mods other than 18" wheels and 275/65 bfg's.

Immediate mod plans include: H&S mini maxx with egt pyro and 4" or 5" inch turbo back exhaust. Haven't decided yet.

Trying to determine if i am going to do egr delete or just use the egr turn off on the mini maxx. also plan on adding intake.

As it is a ST model with only interior options being over head display and cloth seats. I want to add power locks and am looking into adding power windows down the line. remote start coming soon.

Any one have any experience with adding power locks or windows. I am considering cost vs ease of instillation/functionality of using stock parts out of a donor truck and aftermarket actuators. Any and all thoughts welcome.
