Default 96 Ram 1500 Front Bumper Droop

I have what I've been told is a typical problem for the 96's front bumper. My bumper is drooping bottom forward......in other words the bottom of the bumper is movin out toward the front of the truck. If anyone is familiar with this issue and knows of a fix please let me know!!

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't understand the issue. Maybe a pic to better explain it?

Default Front Bumper Droop Pic

96 Ram 1500 Front Bumper Droop.jpg

Here is the passengers side, notice the uneven gap between the headlight and the bumper......the drivers side is very slight compared to the passengers side. The gap isn't the result of a wreck or playin to hard either........My boy thinks the bumper needs another support on each side further out.........It may be just a design flaw..........K

Glad you posted a pic. You are actually missing a support there, thats why you have some "droopage". There is a brace from the bumper to the frame.

Thanks Panhead, I wondered if I was missin any supports. I bought my truck used and it makes sense. It's kinda weird that "Xtremehumpdog" & "double0ram" have the same or a similar issue in their later model Rams. It's interesting. I'll check the bumper support layout for my 96 and post what I find.
