After having my cummins for 6 years and having a "few" mods, I would recommend the FIRST mods on your truck should be gauges, if you don't already have them. Boost, trans temp, fuel pressure and EGT are all important. I would also suggest you add a second in-line fuel filter/water seperator. Injectors are expensive and your fuel system and engine hate water. Also check to see if you have rear wheel inner fender liners. If not they are a good investment and only cost about $100 at the dealer.

H&S minimaxx tuner can tell you all that!
I really wish they'd make tuners for 5.9s

I have a 2009 that I did a dpf delete, unplugged the egr and added a smarty jr tuner. What a difference, the power is unreal and I always run the 100hp tune unless I'm towing. I get around 19mpg city and more than 20+mpg on the highway. I did a cold air intake first (airaid) as that is a good bang for the buck mod. I can return the truck to stock in an hour and a half for warranty work if need be. Whatever tuner you decide on, just make sure it doesn't leave a footprint.
