Ramtech,
Why would it be necessary for you to withhold advice under these circumstances? Your advice is worth a ton and I just can't see how this is such a big deal. Also, if you found my post offensive - I apologize. I was just pointing out that the Space85 asked a legitimate question using reasonable language. I have a new Ram Bighorn too, and I'm not too automotively swift so I actually read the manual referencing the "5 position tranfer case".
Again, and also to BLKSVT, I didn't mean to ruffle any feathers.

By the way, when you pulled out on the icy road and heard a "grinding noise" it was most likely the traction control actuating the ABS solenoids to prevent wheel slip. This is normal operation but the service 4x4 light coming on isn't. Trouble codes will be stored in the FDCM even if the light remains off and it whould be looked at by the dealer.

It's not necessary, but keep in mind that the advice I offer on here is free of charge and I don't much care for being sniped when I'm trying to find out exactly what someone means when they don't have the terminology that is typically used.

Thanks for the advice RamTech and if I offend anyone I am sorry and didn't mean to piss anyone off. The next time I post something I will make sure to proof read it before I post something. I have scheduled service for tomorrow and will let you know what the problem was. Again I apologize if I offend anyone and I am happy to recevie any information possible.

I'm good with that. It's in the past now, so we can bury this discussion.

Yeah, I reread your initial post and I can see where I should have given you the benefit of the doubt re: being sincere. I proclaim this a bad hair day (or in my case a NO HAIR day) My apology was sincere BTW.

Hey RamTech I do have a question for you, is the 2011 dodge ram backup cam suppose to have the guidelines on the screen?
