Default steering problems

I have a question that you guy can maybe help me with? I am haveing a problem with my steering and I cant figure out what the problem is that i am having. let me thank you guys in advance for all of your help with this matter I guess I am to stupid in these things. My problem is when I make a turn manily to the right the steering wheel feels like it is getting soft and the wheel drops to the right or surge might explain it better. This causes my truck to turn sharp to the right.I replaced the stabilizing shock already with no improvement to the problem. thanks agine for your help in this matter.

Hi there always. I don't have an answer but might point you to a better location for your post:

http://www.ramforumz.com/forumdisplay.php?f=192

The help zone will get your questions looked at by a more technical person than the General Discussion location.

Welcome to the forum.

I would be looking at the power steering pump, steering linkage and tie rod ends. But if it's a power surge, I would suspect the pump.

Have you replaced the ps fluid and bled the system lately?
