Default BCM assistance for 01 V6... HELP

Windshield wipers went dud, so we switched the switch... only works on the LO setting... Brought it to mechanic to do a diagnostic, someone we could trust... he said he hadn't found any faulty connections and suggested that it was probably the body control module. We did a thorough search to find one and even heard that dodge is on back up order... hard as hell to find... and we can't even find one. I'm wondering if its even the bcm at all, but I heard that when the bcm goes out, the truck usually randomly faulters... like flashing lights or that annoying ding ding... nothing like that but the immediate worry is the wipers... We looked for the bcm today, and we couldn't even locate it... kindof embarrassing, but you live you learn... if you have any suggestions on what the problem could be, other than the bcm, please tell us, or if you could help us locate the darn thing and help us find a new one, thatd b cool... thanks...

I'm willing to bet the wiring or wiper motor itself is to blame. I don't understand why your mechanic thought the CTM would be the cause since there's no high speed operation.

we figured that because the wipers still worked(on lo) that the wiper motors weren't to blame. If you switch it from lo to any other setting... it gets stuck... until you put it back on lo. We changed wiper relays, fuses, and honestly the bcm is one of the last things I feel comfortable with. It makes me feel like my whole trucks about to fall apart. Wiring just feels like a huge annoyance. And as for the mechanic, he seems to make sense, because the wipers work, the switch was switched out, all fuses were replaced, and after looking at several wiring schematics, its either the module, or wires... Which id rather a simple fix
