Well here I am looking at all the nice shiny truck with their big rims and little skinny rubber band tires and thinking hmmm how can I stand out from this crowd So here it is I have a set of 15x10 rims here from another project that wont be getting used now but they would look really slick with a set of 31x10.5 tires on there I kow that they will clear the rear drum brakes but with they fit around my front disks and calipers without any major issues??

I have a good feeling 15" isn't enough clearance. I've always seen people stay away from that and go 16" and up

pull your current rim off and measure yor rotor and see how it would fit in the new rim.

The stock rotors are a 12" I believe. I am getting the SSBC brake upgrade for the front of my '07 Ram and those rotors are 14". that is what leads me to believe they are a 12" stock.

I was just wondering why you want to go with a small tire? You can fit up to a 33" tire if you wanted to. Rams with a stock 20" rim have a close 33" tall tire

My curant tires are 285/75 R16 if I did the math right theat thould be about 31.9 inches when they were new right now they are worn out but they so they are closer to 31 and they look big in the second GEN wheel opening

My personnal preferance is lots of tire with little Rims

mybe I should go with the 15 inch rims and a 32 as it should fit but Im not sure if a 33 will fit when I turn full turn

LOL, if you do the math, 31" tire on a 15" rim is the same as a 33 tire on a 17 rim. or a 35 on a 20" rim. not really against the grain. just less expensive. what every you pick, im sure it will look good. make sure to post pics.

Your right not really against the grain as far as over all size goes
But every one seems to be going bigger and bigger with the RIM size and I wanna go smaller thats all

I think it all depends on the truck really. I think that a lot of newer trucks look weird with small wheels and big tires but the older 2nd gen trucks looks good with up to 17" wheels and big tires.
