Question Street Edge Hemiverter/ Stage 3 Valve Body

These will probably be my next mods right after i install my ARheaders and ported throttle body this tuesday i was just wondering what people thoughts were on this package. Is it a good or bad deal and for the performance will it be worth the money?

Good Q. I have not heard any reviews of the Stage III VB on a 4th gen.

I got mine used so there's quite a big price difference between a new one.

Being a early 04 we have little to zero tranny options so it was really a hit and miss on how PCM/TCM takes to the VB but i am very happy. Resetting the PCM my shifts were very firm with no lags in between vs stock. It gradually becomes softer but becomes hard again after each reset.

Like many mods it varies between each truck. Some have reported neck snapping shifts, others have better than stock shifts then some who noticed no difference.
This relates to 3rd gens so could be a whole new animal in yours or not.

However i love and have zero complaints with my 2800 Edge Stall. Just be sure to get billet.

Thats surprising cause the shifts looks pretty quick when i watch some 4th gen speedo videos on you-tube. I only have mine to compare though so maybe my expectations are too low lol.

Good mod when contemplating a cam setup. Noticed it was easier to spool the rpms faster.
Price is gone down a bit since i brought it too.

Yea those 2 mods seem like they will be very good to get. I was looking at getting thoes for my truck as well. Only thing with Moes is the price for the combo is wrong. they have a refundable core charge built into the price. If you see Sheradon does not accept the refund anymore so you would be screwed out of that. You can buy them seperatly and it would be the better thing to do. definitely look into those mods, they will put the power down much better.
