You have to take the door panel off.

You will have to make a baffle (6x9 adapter plate) to mount the component 6.5" in the 6x9 hole.

It will be a while before I can actually measure, I'm pretty confident in saying if you stay less than 3" top mount depth you can make it work with a 3/8" baffle.

well i was looking to keep the 6X9's in the front and the back. i just need to know the depth for the front speaker size, i would like to purchase all 4 kicker ds35's.

JUST TO MAKE SURE IM NOT CONFUSED. i can order 3 of the same 3.5 speaker for all 3 dash speakers?

Thanks for all the info, threw a set of Infinity 3032cf's in the dash with the stock base stereo and WOW... what a difference. Sounds decent! I'll upgrade the head unit etc later... Thanks again for the wiring info, was a life saver!
