Default Resonator removal

I have a 06' 1500 quad cab. I want a little more sound out of my exhaust I was just wondering what kind of sound i would have if i just removed the resonator, and if there is a kit available to do this.

I just put a straight pipe in and it was not loud enough. I will be taking the resonator off the hangers and running just the cat. I will have video as soon as the snow stops enough to keep the camera from getting wet.

My buddy did that with his and i heard it last night... sounds just as good as a several hundred doller exhaust kit, but guess what it's free lol. I'm going to do it today I'll take pics and post a how to.

No kit to remove it that I'm aware of but any good shop can fab up the pipe to replace the section opened up where the resonators were.

It will be louder and a sound deeper with them off. If you have MDS on your truck, when the truck hits MDS mode you might get some drone.

Got it done today,a little bit of a pain in the ass, but the sound is awesome! Will probably end up putting a system on later (to pass inspection) but not sure any muffler/piping set up will match the raw, loud rumble you get with it open behind the cat. My camera died right before i finished so tomorrow i'll post pics and a video for sound.
