now a turbo is very nice and i would love to see a truck running one. the price mentioned above is the same for the vortech kit i found that could probably be made to fit with a lil bit o fabbing. but if i had to chose i would go turbo due to the non power robbing capabilities, and the for lack of better words easier power application to the drivetrain.
here you go boss...initial tuning and dyno. It was bought as a 2009 RCSB 4wd. Mike had since then installed 4.10 gearing, oem R/T 2600 stall, and made it to an awd by utilizing a grand cherokee srt8 transfer case. First this isnt a store bought water/air cooled TT setup. He designed, built, and installed this humbly in his garage over the winter. Purpose overly built in future plans of built internals to double the power on this dyno. As you can see its making good power only at 4600 rpms, thats a turbo for you. We are on the initial planning stages for a single setup for mine. The good news is that he likes to race
So we can possibly be seeing a few gen 4 trucks in the low low 12s this spring. Who knows, with more tuning, DRs with AWD
