Default STUMPED!!! engine serial number?

I have a stripped out (cross threaded) oil plug. So naturally while working on it, i knocked a hole in the pan. But upon getting a used pan from a junk yard, when i put it on, sealed great, no leaks, but the crankshaft was hitting the pan. the new pan didn't have as deep of a sump as the old one. My trucks engine was replaced with another 318. So the question is, how do i read the engine stamp on the block to determine which engine i have? The stamp i got today on the bottom driver side under the head reads: 58006714-318 6 (that first 8 may be a 3), is this the serial number or what? and what does it mean? Am i looking at the wrong number? any help greatly appreciated!

I would try to clean off the old oil pan itself & it may reveal a part #.

Keep it Mopar, buy Mopar Parts.

I am completely disgusted every time I think about having to take a distributor cap off of one of these trucks -Screamintrashcan
