Default Projects?

Any new projects with your trucks?
I just finished making a screen protector for keeping bugs and debris from collecting on radiator. Took aluminum screening cut to size (28"x26"), folded edges in 1/4" and framed with extra-strength 17mil Gorilla tape. Punched in grommets to all 4 corners. Slid screen up from below behind grille and attached corners to adjacent structures via small 4" length bungee cords to secure in place. Looks nice and easy to remove for cleaning. Being its aluminum screen material, bugs do not stick on it. I will take pictures and attach later. Very easy to do!! I got the idea from an earlier post somewhere.

Just finished the audio, got lift tires and wheels on, did the front grille and additional lights, added HID low beams and fogs....guess I'll have to think about what's next!

What lights did you add? A find of mine got the HID's put on his Ford diesel and had some issue with high beams flicking.

I did a set of DDM low beam headlights, a set of DDM fogs, an NFab light bar. 10 LED SMT front turn signals and a set of Hella Rallye 1000 halogens. I do have a flickering problem but am gonna try a resistor fix DDM has proposed to me this weekend. Pic below:

I couldn't really even tell you added a screen back there KNSRAM. It looks like the radiator or tranny cooler unless you look really closely. I can see why you need it, your grill is wide open. At least my honeycomb keeps out a lot of big crap but the bugs can be a nightmare. When we have gone on vacations in the spring & summer the bugs on the road get so thick the A/C starts to cool less because of all the bug guts clogging it up. Once I get home I always have to wash out the engine bay. I have thought about doing the same but have not found a good way to secure it on mine.

i had a problem with my 05 honeycomb grill a few years back, during a freezing rain storm the grill started to freeze over, it looked like a northern atlantic uboat. when the coolant temp got too high i had to find a car wash and hose off the front end
