It's easy to secure. I got the smallest bungee cords made. Must only be 6-8mm thickness x 6" long. There's plenty of places to latch the bungee cords to. I also added a 1" wide Mini metal binder clip to latch the top center edge of screen to the back plastic cover that runs along the top front edge of radiator just below the hood latch which helps keep the screen from saggign down.

I had thought about getting a different tighter grill, but then thought best to keep it to maintain good air flow especially now since I added the sreen. And I'm happy with the look of the aluminum screen in the back ground of the grill.

Thanks for the advice KNSRAM, the only problem is my grill is attached to the hood rides up when I open the hood. If it was fixed like the newer Rams it would probably be easier to install, but I have little to grab it onto on my grill. Then if I attach it to the frame, I fear it may rub the A/C coil and cause problems there. I have to give it more thought is all.

I like that quote "large and in charge". Might have to put that on my license plate frame

Just got my Torklift tie downs today. Soon as weather permits, going to install them...rain rain rain. They say no drilling required...hope so! Best prices I found are from tweetys.com. Total cost for all four was $349 and no shipping fee and great customer service! Wish me luck!!

Today truck is at Les Schwabs for installation of Ride-Rite air bags. Opt to have them leave as manual air inflation with valves placed at bottom ends of rear bumper for now. They wanted too much for air suspension compressor system added so that will be another project I can tackle later. Want to get the heavy duty system with dual gauges. I figure I will just tee-off from existing air lines to bumper to the compressor system and that way I will then have both in-cab and outer means of adjusting air.

Talking Reflex Bedliner

Just got my bedliner done with "Reflex" spray-in bedliner. They did an excellent job. Impressed with 3/8" thickness. Very tough yet rubbery enough to prevent sliding and/or scraping. Although still considering adding additional removable rubber matt before loading camper.
