I am running the Terra Grapplers in 275/60/20 and love them. I also had them on my Pathfinder.

I had Nittos on my 02 Ram, they lasted 48K miles before repacing them. Overall I liked them. I have Cooper Zeons on my 09 now, really like the look.

I had a set of Terra Grapplers on my 2007 Sierra. I had Goodyear Wrangler ATs on the truck when I bought it and they were much better in the mud but on the street the Nittos blew them away, especially in the rain. I really had to watch it with the Goodyears when taking off but the Nittos gripped much better and would not break loose as easily. Also they had a stiffer sidewall so they handled better on curves but made the ride a little harsher. I had about 25k on them when I traded it in and they showed no wear and still had some of the nipples on them.

If these Goodyear HPs on my Ram do as bad in the rain as the ATs did, I'll probably end up with another set of the Nittos soon.

I have the Toyo Open County M/T's and love them!! Tire wear is good, road noise is minimum for a M/T and they will go through anything. Toyo and Nitto are made by the same company. Nitto is just their sister brand.. I have heard great things about both Nittos are usually a little cheaper. I was going to orginally get Nittos and the tire place had a set of Toyos on hand and said I could have them for the same price. I dont think you will be dissappointed ant all!!

I also run the toyo at's. 305/70/16's and have no complaints. Pretty quiet and smooth for a E load range AT tire

We owned a tire shop and I can honestly say they are both good. The nittos have a better looking sidewall but they dont last extremely long. Average at best and the nitto terra grappler isnt anything special in snow if thats something your looking at. The toyos are pretty good but maybe more expensive. Look at the Hankook all terrains they are pretty good and considerably cheaper.

Never had the Toyo's but the Nitto Terra Grapplers are nice. They wear good and have just alittle bit of highway noise. Nothing like an aggressive mud terrain, but you can hear them when cruising on the highway around 70mph.
