Default Care Packages

Let me first say that I appreciate everything our service men and women do for this country, from one veteran to another.

Ok, so having been deployed numerous times myself I understand how rough it is. Also my brother-in-law is deployed at the moment, and I have to say I'm the care package KING lol.

I throw together care packages regularly, and I also write companies and businesses in support for our troops as well asking if it's possible to send them something as well. 85% of the time they are more than happy to send packages.

I have a group of addresses of military members returning from deployment, and I received a stop mail notice, so its time to fill that void.

If anyone knows of a service member currently deployed, part of this site or not it does not matter, shoot me a PM with their address and I can add them to my list.

Also if anyone knows the current addresses of members deployed you can PM me their addresses as well.

If your a member here and are deployed and are reading this PM your address too.

Along with the address you can PM me a list of needs for that service member. I was Marine Corps Infantry, 0311/0331, I know what these guys need but not sure about other jobs.

Fortunately, All my friends that wwere deployed are currently stateside. You can about bet that anything the infantry needs, everyone else will also find a use for sooner or later. I know batteries, any sort of homecooked goodies, and magazines are always welcome. If people here are willing to donate, perhaps you could set up a way to forward needed items or share your list of marines, soldiers, sailors and airmen that are deployed.

I think it's awesome that people do this for our troops. The Catholic Daughters through one of our local churches, we send packages regularly, and Randy has a great idea for getting others involved as well!

I don't like to impose on people that is why I only asked for addresses. Service members are the same if you ask what they need chances are they will say they are fine lol. I do what I can with the help of some other former service members. We just do what we can.

Thats awesome you guys do that. It seems alot of it is fading out, like it was huge back when this war started but now I get the feeling people forget we still have our brave fighting over seas.
