Default Tire Size

I ordered a 2.5 leveling kit from hell bent steel yesterday. And i was wondering what is the biggest size tire that will fit my stock 17" rims. The stock tires and rims are 265/70/R17

you should be able to fit 35" the biggest thing you have to think about would be the "stuffed look" most people with leveling kits are going with 33" because they dont want their tires to looked stuffed. just something to think about

I have been thinking about if they were goin to look to stuffed.. I will probably go with 33". Any suggestions on brand and exact size. I would like to use my stock 17" rims.

I plan on putting Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2, 285/70R17 on my stock rims. Tire specs are listed as 32.8" overall diameter.

I believe most 35's are going to need a 8.5"-9" rim at minimum. The stock 17 inch rims are only 7" unfortunately. 33"'s are going to be a cheaper choice, otherwise you might have to get wider rims. Just my humble opinion.

I'm stuck at kinda the same place. Wanna keep the 17's but I will hafta buy some wider rims to fit some 37"s.

Tirerack has specs on their tires for what rim size is needed for the tire. Just pick a tire and click on spec when it comes up...gives lots of info on that tire and other sizes .

you can go with a AT tire or something more aggressive such as the cooper zeon's or nitto trail grapplers, terra grapplers. it all depends on what type of look you are going for
