Default New Member Need Help With Tires

I am a new member and really need help deciding on a tire. I have spent many hours reading threads on here about differant tires, looking at reviews and surveys on tire rack and right now im very confused on what tires i should get. I been going back and fourth between Goodyear Duratracs, Nitto Terra Grapplers, BFG a/t/ko's, and a few others i need help. What is the best performing and looking(more towards performance but looks are good too) a/t tire for my ram. Also i'd like to get some ideas on the life of these tires like how long will they last mileagewise thats important too.

I also want to get the tires in 275/65/20 i want the extra height but im not sure because ive read many differant opinions on going to this size and i dont want any rubbing. I do have a 2.5" front leveling kit, and also rear airlift suspension. Thing is i work this truck and carry anywhere from 500-1200 pounds of equiptment and materials about once a week to differant jobs but its also my play truck so i want it bad ass. So with the lower clearance from all the weight could the tires rub at this size? I need new tires soon please give me your opinions!

I am running 275/65/20 Toyo A/T's and a leveling kit on my 08 1500 and have never had a rubbing problem. As far as performance they have been great on all different terrains like the snow, mud, great on the highway too, no noise. They are a good aggressive looking tire also with some side-lug. I bought my truck used in 09 with the tires already on it and I drive quite a bit on the highway and seems to be very little wear on the tread also. Keep us informed and Good Luck !

I would suggest the BFG A/T KOs for what you need it for. they look really good and they last a long time. I think they are the best A/T tire out there. I have them on my truck right now. I think they have 20,000kms on them and they still look like new. That might be an over estimate but not by much. You would think they are new anyways!

They are very comfortable. I love the ride with them installed. Also they make no noise at all which is great. Did I mention they look really good?

Scat, how do the BFGs act on the pavement? Are they noisy? Are they comfortable? I'll be doing most of my driving on the highway, but some offroad and in snow.

The hankook dynapro rf10 is a great a/t tire. Prob the best snow traction and I would know I live in MN and it is real agressive looking and quiet on highway.
