Unhappy Rust from front door seals!?

Hey everyone, just want to see if anyone else is having this issue.

About a week ago, my wife and I were on our way out...my wife opens her door and says "hey, there is rust at the bottom of my door!"

I'm like you're pulling my leg as the truck is just over 3 months old!!

Check out the pic. The rust is coming from inside the door seal. I guess it's the metal that helps give the seal it's shape.

Gonna run it by the dealer when I get a chance. Anyone else see this yet?

That's definately a first for me too. Let us know what they find and how they fix it.

My caliber has the same problem on the rear drivers side seal. they have replaced it once already. the other door seals are fine though.

I haven't seen it but i'll be checking mine. Its likely just the metal in the rubber seal. No big deal.

Having the same problem with my 2010. Rust is leaking out from inside the seals. Door seals are getting replaced the next time it goes to the dealer.

The rust just wipes off. It's coming from inside the rubber seal, not from the metal on the truck itself. (kinda like a twist tie, it's the metal strip inside the rubber seal that's rusting)

I was glad to figure that out...I would be pissed if there was rust on the truck when it's not even a year old.
