Default Air Intake Opinion

I have the option to buy either a brute force intake or a twin air (dual filter) intake system. Which system would you guys suggest for looks and/or performance/quality. With the twin system would have to ditch the hemi engine cover? Thanks for the input fellas

Are you talking about the universal kind of twin intakes that you find on eBay and auto stores ? If so I would recommend going with something that is more of a actual Cold Air Intake as those cheaper twin ones basically sit on top of the motor and suck in hot air. Just my 2 cents but you usually get what you pay for. If you can post some pics of the two that you are asking about it would help alot more though. Thanks and good luck !

Ya, my guess would be your not gonna get a whole lot of cold (fresh) air with that twin intake. They look cool and iu'm guessing that's their selling point. You could try contacting the companies and asking them if they have any Dyno results for your specific application.

You know what with that twin intake it actually sits closer to the front of the engine bay. There are some that will sit right over the motor which will suck in the hot air. That one will still probably do that but not as much. If you have to choose between those two then I guess go with the AEM. Also getting rid of the Hemi hat is a good thing. That is like a resonator which restricts the flow a bit
