auto lock not working

I just picked up my 04 ram and notice the dome lights don't come on and the auto door lock also doesn't work ,but only on the driver door. I,m thinking it might be the door sensor. Did anyone else have this prob?

Don't jump into anything without first checking all the fuses .

Here is what I found for the 2004 RAM 1500:
Auto Unlock Feature ProgrammingThis feature is enabled when your vehicle is shipped
from the assembly plant and can be disabled by using the
following procedure:
Customer Programming sequence to disable or enable:
1. Enter your vehicle and close all doors.
2. Fasten your seat belt (fastening the seat belt will cancel
any chiming that may be confusing during this programming
procedure).
3. Insert the key into the ignition.
4. Within 4 seconds, cycle the key from the OFF position
to the ON position four times ending in the ON position
(do not start the engine).
5. Within 30 seconds, press the driver’s door lock switch
in the UNLOCK direction.
6. A single chime will sound to indicate the feature has
been changed.
7. To reactivate the feature, repeat the above steps.
8. If a chime is not heard, program mode was canceled
before the feature could be changed. If necessary repeat

If the door lock continues to not work check the wiring in the boot in the door jam. I have a 2005 and one of my locks wasn't working ended up having a broken wire in there.

I think that what it is a broken wire. i tried the re programing and that did not work. Its still under warrenty so let fix it lol but thanks guys for all your help

Well it was a broken wire and it needs a new latch.but its all under the warrenty.
