Default Ford SVT Raptor vs. Dodge Ram PowerWagon

Just another Ford vs. Dodge Comparison. Really interesting actually.

Nice in depth analysis. Can't believe the Raptor got the edge on Suspension though.

It does depend on what one uses it for though. Desert racing, I would take the Ford, and any sort of mudding or rock crawling, I would take the Dodge. But, and I may be biased, I would really just take the PowerWagon overall. Those things are beasts!

I have to admit, the Inferno Red with those crazy graphics actually isn't too bad.

I thought that was really well done. Compared 2 trucks I wouldn't have put in the same category, and came up with some really good info. Raptor = fun truck, Power Wagon = work then play truck. Guess which one my money'd be on?

Good article and like chithead, I wouldn't have thought the Raptor would have the suspension edge, either, as I see a lot more offroad articulation ability in the Powerwagon setup. Either way, Powerwagon all the way! One day when I win the lottery.....

Well, if you think about it, the Raptor has pushed the envelope for a factory truck. A straight axle has been around since the first truck was made.

Love the raptor! LOVE the power wagon! Personally I'd go with the power wagon, there's really no where to use the raptor around here other than lease roads. Not to say it wouldn't be cool to have.
