Default Limited rear slipping?

I have an 01 3500 4x4, I have noticed mainly in turning at slow speeds I have a slipping feeling from the rear end.... Im not sure if it would be a limited slip thing or do I have a real problem? Any help will be appreciated...

I'm not sure what you mean by a "slipping feeling" .

i noted that you have a 4X4, i hope that you are not using it when your on dry pavement, where you don't need the front differential engaged

Can you elaborate on the 'slipping feeling'?

I suspect what you are describing is the LSD not releasing when turning and feels like something is suddenly releasing every 10 feet or so.

Try draining the fluid and refilling with the factory recommended oil with plenty of LSD additive. We were using an extra tube for customers with repeat concerns for this symptom.

No gtyankee, its not even in 4wd. I was talking aboit the rear, not the front diff.
Thanks sinned, I will drain it and try what you said. It truely feels like LSD slipping.
