Ya its pretty thick, I dont think I'm gonna have a problem with it. They also had a hard plastic one but I would have had more of a problem getting it to couple to the TB.

everything fits snug, I made sure to tighten the coupler down on the TB really good because its a little smaller then the coupler itself.

Great write up!!

I have one concern I guess you could say... I used to have a 98 Eclipse race car and I was super heavy into all of the forums and what not. Some people were looking into using PVC for the intercooler piping and that was severely frowned upon due to the fact when PVC heats up it releases a gas that can damage a engine.

One thing to think of is when your using this on a boosted vehicle of course the air temperature going through the pipe would be MUCH higher. I don't see an issue from this beings that it wont get that hot from just being on top of the motor.

Just something to think about and maybe someone has done some more research on this. I will do some looking on my great friend google and see if I find anything.

Just want to thank all you guys as well, I am a new dodge owner and have found a TON of useful information on this site.

Good point Will.

If you are planning on running boost I don't think any sort of home grow intake solution is a good idea. I don't think the rubber elbow would fair well under that sort of preasure. Most of us aren't going to that type of extreme however.
