anybody using one that can give some insight on it? looking to get some better traction out of my 2wd.

im just waiting for some days off and my ring and pinion so i can do the install. i'll probably drive around my beater buick while im doing it. Just need to get the stickers and insurance for her.

made an appointment today to have OEM 410's installed with a limited slip diff. cant wait!

This is probably going to be a bigger project than i thought. I know some1 that would help but he said he'd charge. want to know how much the going rate is at a shop so im not ripped off if i enlist his help. All the shops here in town said they wouldnt even touch it.

about 1200.00 for oem gear, lsd, seals, bearings and install. unfortunately i had to reschedule my appointment. had a catastrophic failure on my trailer and have to replace the axles and all related components. will have to wait till april to reschedule

they screwed me at the stealership . charged me big bucks for install and thats after I bought the gears, eaton locker and bearings. next time i'll go to a transmission shop or something. I think they set the pinion a bit too shallow also after popping the cover when i changed the fluid. it doesnt look too bad but its wearing too close to the top of the ring gear.
