Default Where did you mount your antenna?

OK so I have a scanner (and some of you have CB and or scanner etc)

I want to mount an antenna in/on my box (I do not want it stuck on roof, or front fender mount etc...)

So I was hoping some could post some pics of your CB or Scanner antenna's mounted in or on your box...Perhaps share some info on your mount and mounting gear etc that you used and or what I would need...

I would love to mount mine on the eye hook a few inches off the box bed (mount it there and the antenna would reach above the roof line or close)...

I know a guy around here used to have his CB antenna (mag mount) right on the bed floor and it worked fine.....Anyways I am rambling now...Show me what you got!

Thanks for the pics!
I wonder what kind of mounts those are in the 2nd picture (dual antennas)
That is sort of how I would like to mount my Austin Spectra with NMO connection/mount...

Here is where I would like to mount my antenna
But to go about doing it I am lost
Antenna requires an NMO mount

So that looks like a mirror mount to me (with just the single piece used.......
I guess any "L Bracket" could be used and holes made
Perhaps TRAM or another company may have these items
Thanks for the help
Could I use this item (or similar) with either pre drilled holes or I could make my own
http://www.scannermaster.com/NMO_Hol.../13-540564.htm

Or this maybe what I need...

Default scanner/cb antenna

I have a 2010 Ram 1500 sport quad cab ,I mounted mine on a l-bracket like the one previously shown but I centered mine in the bed with a wilson 4ft fiberglass antenna tuned . No need for the ground if you go that way.

I guess this is the bracket I need unless I go the way you went

How is your bracket attached?
Do the bolts go right through the box towards the cab?
