Default how to add a rear block?

So I got my rough country 3" suspension lift the other day and managed to get the coil springs and all 4 shocks on. I was wondering if anyone knows the best way to add the rear blocks? I planned on unbolting the leaf spring u bolts and using a jack and jack stands to lift the truck under the springs to create a gap, assuming the wheels and axle will stay put on the ground, then slipping the blocks in. Any thoughts?

Your best bet is a two point lift and get it off the ground a little then use your jack stands for the axle

I'm sure you're done now but I've always used the tall jackstands under the frame on each side and then used my floorjack to hold the pumpkin up. That way you can manuever the axle where you need it. I've never re-used the ubolts either. I've always cut them off and then bolted on new ones with blocks/leaf springs. Much easier than unbolting them. It's already a pain to torque them down without air tools.

By the way never said it was safe

X2! It's a pretty simple task when you go about it this way.
