I don't know if this works on 4th gens. But in my 04 if you turn it on then turn the key back slightly it will beep and turn your radio off. And what this does is it turns of the governor. Not sure but I think it also turns off Traction Control. I'm gonna have to do it and see one day soon but I have a feeling it does. That is one of the good things about having a 3rd gen. I heard tho in 4th gens you could cut the wire to the TCS and put in a toggle switch and that would do it but I only heard this from someone who I didn't know so cant vouch for it.
