today i talked to a couple mechs. and some people who know tires, they told me some intersting thing on tires: the sticker psi has to do with ride quality. and i was told to run the pis at around 85% of max load for such a big tire, my tires are 65psi cold so i am going to run them at around 52psi or so. when the dealer put them on they had them at 35 and they felt flat. yes with more air it will be a harder ride, but the tire will run true and will save gas mpg.

This

Dealers and door stickers are going to advice you on air pressure for stock wheels/tires and what is the best combo for MPG and ride quality.

For aftermarket tires, you should really have your driving chassis weight and then factor in the load capability of the tires you bought, then run them at the appropriate level based on the percentage of the max load you run at. Finally, make adjustments based on tread wear. Too much math, i know.
