OK, what exactly did you hear CLICK ON when you moved the battery?

Okay let me clear things up. First off sorry for all the confusion. So I had a bad ground fixed that. Still not the problem. Really nothing to do with it. When it's raining or even damp out it just turns over with no problems just won't fire. I've changed the distributor cap and rotor. Still no help. As soon as it dryes out it fires right up. I'm at a loss now. Could it be the coil? What could be getting damp or wet just sitting there? I'm at a total loss. Thank you all for being so patient and putting up with me.

The coil would be the next cheap thing to replace. Change the coil wire also.

You know, if you spritz the wires and other ignition components with a spray bottle of water (AT NIGHT) then start it up (if you can) where ever the sparks are coming from is usually the problem child.

Failing that just hose it down with WD (WATER DISPLACING) 40 before an expected rain event, or after if you forget or get caught by surprise.

I had the same problem on my Jetta and the WD40 worked every time.

So after plugs wires cap and rotor and a few hours of driving when the weather was better I haven't had a problem in a month. And believe me it's been a rainy one. So I don't know the actual issue but it's all good now.
