I'm still trying to figure out what he means by "focus" on the headlights. Beam pattern maybe?

Yes, it is the beam pattern! I say no focus because the beams seems scattered. My lights now are of no question "very bright" but since the beams are scattered, I can't see much further when I'm using my high beam...I live in Canada and you know when one travels up-north it is not unusual that you encounter only a few vehicles, so one must be careful with those animals crossing the road.

So you're looking for either a new bulb or lamp setup that will throw a longer beam?

Default Dim lights

I had the same problem and installed a set of HID lights from carid and now the lights help me at night. It is a tricky job to remove the quad lights. You may also if your truck is equiped with fog lights replace the fog lights with an HID kit. I did the HID first and they light up the road better than the regular headlamps. I do have to adjust them a bit. But the foglight installation was much easier. I used nylon ties to strap the thin balasts. good luck

I have it consulted to the dealership where they made adjustment on the headlight itself but didn't made a difference. They suggested that I have to change the bulb to a "more brighter one", I complied and bought the specified one but still the light don't have focus. It is very frustrating that I seldom use my truck specially when I drive long distance for the fear that I will be in the road driving at night. I instead use my 2008 Grand Cherokee, but the jeep carries only a small cargo. I wanted to use my truck badly...any advise?

A big hello and a warm Carolina welcome to the best Dodge Ram forum!

There are many who've converted to HID and some have added projector lamps. Do you have the quad lamps and fogs? I drive with my fogs all the time and will probably add HIDs when I can afford to do the full projector modifications at the same time.
