The proper name for our color is Solar Yellow. Beecareful though. There are two different versions of the yellow set by Chrysler/Dodge. I learned this when I got my SRT10 bumper painted. The paint and body man painted two test panels, each with both yellows. I then chose the one that was the closest match to the rest of the truck. For accent painting, I use rust-oleum. They have a yellow that's dead on. Here it is.

To locate your specific paint code, please look for the sticker on the inside edge of your driver's door jam. All Daimler-Chrysler paint codes are prefixed by the letter "P". In the example shown, the paint code is "B5" which is Electric Blue.
Most colors are 3 letters or combination of letters & numbers

Generally speaking with rustolum a primer isn't needed. it usually comes with a adheasion promoter mixed in. I personally have never painted interior pieces with it so I can't say how well it holds or how long. Everything else I have ever used it on I can say that I was satisfied with hold and durability. Another product you may like to look into is dupli color. I haven't used any of their stuff as of yet. I will be experimenting with it soon though. http://www.duplicolor.com/products/vinylFabricCoating/
Good luck with what ever you use.

I would always recommend laying down a coat of adhesion promoter no matter they type of paint being used. Sand it down gently with 600-800grit then a shot or two of promoter then 2-3 light coats of paint followed by clear.

I used rust-oleum on my fuse box cover (plastic) and my ram air intake. It does have a primer additive but I always do a full prep anyway for best results. It works just fine. If you don't want to use a seperate primer, bee sure to sand the surface to create a surface for the paint to adhese to. But thats obvious.
