Default New Chrome Clad Rims

Well I went to the dealer today because I noticed the rims are peeling in the corners, so they tried some chemical on it and they were happy but I wasn't so 4 new wheels coming in a few days.

How about a few photos of the damage? We'd like to watch our own wheels.

Too late wife is there as I type getting them replaced, not hard to spot it is bubbling and peeling especially in the corners. I should have taken a picture I never thought. They ordered them yesterday and they came today. Wasn't expecting them for a few days.

Oh well, things go like that sometimes. Glad they got the wheels so quick.

I would have preferred to wait till spring to change them but they said no and I also said how about the less expensive painted aluminum...they said no gotta put what is there. Okay now I have new rims, so I decided I don't want this BS anymore and the talk of winter tires being a must I bought some steelies new and some BF Goodrich winter tires, but I bought 17's to save money and also if I need to tow something that is a bit over my limit I can throw on the 17s and get over a grand more towing... I know the tires wear quick in the summer but it wouldn't be a common thing a just in case or looking to feel better about spending 1200 installed balanced the whole shabang. Maybe too much I could have bought them much cheaper in the us but..... trying to support my country.

I had all 4 of my chrome clad wheels replaced at 28,000kms because of peeling in the corners, now at 49,000 the rear wheels are peeling again. Im fighting the dealer to get them replaced, they claim chrysler isnt warrantying wheels anymore, and they dont know how i managed to get them replaced before, even though they had no problems at all doing it. Such BS, i will never buy another chrysler product again, nothing but headaches.
