Has anyone tried calling someone at Volant since they can't respond to emails?

The last CAI that I bought was a dubair for my hemi magnum, it was missing a rubber grommet so I called and talked to someone, they sent out the part asap.

Sorry to hear about the hassle, for that kind of money it should fit correctly.

That sucks, cause I really like this cai, but I am not gonna buy a product with poor customer service like that. Has any one tried to call them? Maybe a better response.

When I ordered my hood scoop attachment, the airbox I had did not line up. I called, got to a live person immediately and by the end of the week I had a UPS package arrive with a new airbox and a brand new powercore filter. In my line of work, I deal with close to a thousand emails a day, granted I would hope they do not get that many, and there is a lot that can happen that would cause one to not be responded to, so if it's important to me I make sure I am talking to a live person.

Yep, send the email to document the problem but follow up with a phone call. I've always had better results that way. I installed my Volant last night and after adjustment, it fits pretty well and the butt dyno says I've gained a bit of power. Very quiet (stock quiet) until under load and then it roars.

I took lots of pics and mine seems to seal well enough, no big gap at the bottom. I don't particularly like how two of the fluid hoses touch the air box but that that is an easy fix. Overall happy.

They're coming either this evening or Saturday morning. Tempus fugit... I'll be posting a writeup on the install and pointing out any issues in another thread but will drop a link here.

I know when I was thinking about getting one for my 2011 all I could find was 2010 stuff, I saw on their website they needed a 2011 for fit test and to build the new intakes for 2011, I sure hope they got it right on the 2011 model even though they 09-11 should be the same!
