Default Gas Pedal Vibration and Shifting Issues

Hey There,

I just picked up a 2010 Ram SLT and I love it but I have two things that are bothering me and hope someone can help.

1st, I am feeling a vibration through the gas pedal. I cannot tell you at what RPM but it is in the lower end/speeds.

2nd, I find when the truck is running on 4 cyclinder/ECO the over drive does not always drop down when I press the gass slightly. It almost feels like I am in too high of a gear and it there feels to be lack of power.

Any ideas or similar issues?

Mine does that too, with the gas pedal, very annoying. When I hit a wash board section on gravel, it feels like a tightly "sprung" side to side feeling, in fact I can hear it at times.

I wish I did have an answer. We haven't seen any cases in our shop and a search for similar cases in Chryslers database has turned up nothing. I'd love to know what's going on with this issue since a number of people here have mentioned it. All I can do for now is keep an eye out for bullitens and check the database from time to time.

Thanks Randy, yeah its weird it only happens every so often and its a slight vibration. I'm not taking it in and have those guys chase a ghost if it's not ever been mentioned, but thanks for keeping an eye out for us!

Thanks Guys. Do you guys find any issues with the "ECO" mode when driving slower speeds? It almost feels like I am driving a standard and have it in a too high of a gear and the only way to drop the gear (out of O/D) is to hit the gas harder.

The ECO thing as far as I know is normal as you are running on four cylinders, I have noticed this mostly at slower speeds. As soon as you press the pedal a bit it kicks back to eight cylinders. Concerning the pedal vibration, I have started to notice this but only when it's very cold below freezing. Above freezing it does not seem to be there, kind of weird.
