Great point RansRAM, Thank You. I live in Ottawa Canada and it has been an average -15 since I bought it. I will wait and see as the warmer temps come. Cheers

I have the vibration in the gas pedal also. It does it all the time. Does not matter if it is warm or cold. Ive gotten used to it.

I also have the vibration. I best discribe mine as a resonating drone type of vibration almost like a hum. As for the tranny shifting it seems like some people are reporting trannys that require a lot of throttle to downshift. And some that downshift to easy or frequently (like mine) possibly the diff. ratio!

If you lightly rest your foot on the brake pedal, you will likely feel the same vibration. After reading many comments regarding this, I tried to be more aware of it in my truck, and sure enough, there is a slight vibration. I also noticed the exact vibration if I rested my foot on the brake pedal, or the park brake pedal.

IMO, the vibration is nothing more than the transfer of the drivetrain vibrations through the pedal mount. I felt it, but in all honesty, I didn't think anything of it. I also noticed the same vibration when I set my hand on the A pillar. I really don't see an issue here.

As for the 'lugging' feeling when the engine is in MDS mode....this is completely normal and understandable when you consider that is only running on 4 cylinders at that moment, and at a lot lower RPM's than a normal 4 cyl engine would be running at. What amazes me is that it is not a lot more noticeable, and that it is capable of delivering usable power at those low RPM's with half the engine just hanging around for the ride.

I'm not a fan of the MDS system, but gotta hand it to Chrysler Corp on this one.....It Works!

Definitely have the vibration - all the time. In researching it, some have said it goes away after a few thousand miles. Don't know if that's true or not, but our other car had some quirks for the first few that are no longer there. There is another thread on this site about it and some interesting "cures."

I've noticed the ECO deal, but as I've driven the truck and gotten used to how it works, I've gotten used to it and rarely notice any more.

My 2011 has the gas pedal vibe too.
I was planing on mentioning it to the dealer when I take it in for the first oil change.
It seems to be worse at 60 km/h.

As far as the "ECO" thing, I don't know about the HEMI with MDS but the ECO light comes on on at light throttle in my 4.7L, I assumed this is just a modern day glorified vacuum gage, telling me I'm driving with a light foot(OHHHH......so driving with less pedal is MORE economical??!!??) I don't notice any issues with downshifting or anything (however I have superchips) and only drove the truck a week before tuning it, it was more sluggish then, but didn't think there were any problems with it.

My gas pedal has an annoying and noticeable vibration every time I hit 2000 rpms until it shifts. I have taken it to the dealer and they acknowledged the vibration but when they checked it out they said nothing seemed to be wrong and they couldn't figure it out.

I have also noticed it as well, I find if I am crossing some train tracks and am keeping a constant speed it does this. Dealership has found nothing. :S
