Default BBK cold air intake

I recently purchased a BBk cold air intake and to so Im impressed is an understatement. I was always hesitant about buying an intake until I bought this one. I purchased it off of craigslist. It was used for 3 months and the previous owner sold the truck and took all the aftermarket stuff off and sold it. I paid $100 for the complete intake. It totally woke the truck up! Its kind of loud aka the whistling/air sucking noise, but performance wise its awesome! I put the intake on yesterday afternoon and drove the truck. I installed my flowmaster exahust this afternoon and HOLY SMOKES....totally different truck. Im contemplating the superchips 3815 flashpack right now. If anyone has any insight, please chime in. I have an 05 hemi ram 1500 4x4, 20" wheels, 35" tires and stock torsion keys cranked to the moon. I ordered a set of 3" torsion keys and rear blocks on friday to lift it a lil higher and level it out. Im going to try the 3" torsion keys first and see what it looks like and then go to the 3" body lift if it isnt high enuff.

Well adding both of those performance mods at once you will notice a difference. Too bad you didn't wait a while to install the exhaust and that way you would have een just how much of a difference each one makes.

for those mods the sc 3815 is a great addition.. I'm not really enthused about flows (been there done that, don't perform as well as mags)...but nonetheless, cai, catback and sc is a good combination..

Ill post some pics tonight when I get off work. I bought the truck last year with 6k miles on it. It just roled 21k miles. I contemplated selling the truck and buying a 5.9 diesel, but its hard getting rid of a 6 yr old vehicle with 21k miles on it.

I like the intake, but it does look a lil bland in there without the plastic crap on top don't it... could always put a lil chrome on the engine... lol. I dunno how you feel about modding stock parts, but cutting the bottom off of the normal plastic cover and putting it back on, maybe after a can of paint would help things out a bit... just a though...
