Default 6" lift + t bar cranking

I was wondering if after I added a 6" BDS lift if I could cranks the t bars to get another 2" out of the front? I know at stock heaight you can but I was wondering if you could do this after a suspension lift? Thanks

Yes you can, but you’re going to have a stiffer ride then you have now. I always recommend Torsion Bar Keys - 2" Leveling Kit it’s supposed to reduce the risk of cracking, or putting extra stress on your T bars. My bro had his stock t-bars cranked with a 12” lift and never had a problem I say do it

Doesn't the lift kit use keys to lift the truck? I am just thinking out loud really since I am not sure how the lift kits for a t bar Ram comes. If it already cranks the t bars to get the lift size then I wouldnt think you can do more. If you go to much then your ride quality is going to right in the shitter. You should really only go like 2-3" from the t bars, after that your stressing them out way too much.

If the kit does not use the t bars to lift it then I say do it. You can use them to get an extra couple inches and it wouldnt ruin the ride

For 02-05's the leveling kit is just a new set of torsion bar keys that cranks them up to get about 2" of lift. I'd say you'll be just fine.

Cranking the keys that extra 2 inches to level truck will do this.....

I was off roading the other week and since the angle of the CV shafts get more and more steeper as the front goes higher and higher with the T bar cranking, you will get more bindinge in the joints of the CV's and less travel for it to fluxuate in and out of the socket on the differential end. Now what happened to me since the angle takes away from the CV travel what happens is that when your truck comes across a certain angle, which for me was not much the CV will come out of the Socket and you will be kinda f*@ked... Just a little advice and some thing to think about

If you do come across this problem, you can spend the time to drop the differential to compensate as well...
