Alright, I'll have to look into those other things you've done. I know you have a very good rep and definitely know best. In terms of the shift kit how expensive is it? How hard to install and what would it do for me since my truck is mostly a DD except I can't resist punching it on the highway from time to time.

Just to clarify when I think of shift kit I'm thinking in terms of the floor shifters that I've heard of but know very little about. If it means the line pressure booster I apologize and just correct me.

The tranny has certain internals that have to be changed not a floor shifter. A shift kit just firms up your shifts alot and is a safe way of doing so B&M makes shift kits this is not my specialty unfortunatly and i have not installed one before but i have heard that its pretty simple. Ok so i looked on Moesperformance.com and he offers a Transgo Shift Kit here's the link. This one is more of a replacment http://moesperformance.com/index.php...roducts_id=620 This might be more of what you are looking for not too sure though. http://moesperformance.com/index.php...roducts_id=619

Okay, I'll have to look into that thanks. Has anyone had experience with the floor shifters? I wish they made these trucks manual I miss driving stick.

Its a good mod if you need to shift rpms higher and consistently. B&M Truck Megashifter is a common aftermarket floor shifter. Some were able to retrofit a console shifter from a Nitro. Some use a B&M Diamond Shifter.

Shift light from Raptor would compliment the floor shifter too.

There are a few Ram members on youtube if you look. Here is a B&M Diamond Shifter installed by Gadier.

hmm I see, but no manual conversions done? I haven't been able to find a single completed project and I know we don't have a standalone engine management system so I'm not sure how to get around that issue.
