Default New Ram Daytona owner with lots of questions

I just bought a 2005 Ram 1500 Daytona. This is my first truck and I absolutely love this thing. It's so much fun to drive and the sound makes it so hard to stay off the gas pedal... I realize this may not have been the most practical choice, but I bought the truck to tow my drift car around. I have a 20' box trailer and with the car and everything loaded up it weighs about 7000-8000 pounds. The truck has the factory tow package and a brake controller already on it, but it has 116,300 miles on it so maintenance is a priority right now.

The trans was flushed and filters changed back in July, so I'm going to leave that for now.
I already changed the oil and filter, air filter and bled the brakes.
I'm going to flush the cooling system and replace with the orange ethylene glycol coolant and distilled water (60/40 mix).
replace spark plugs (all 16, didn't realize what a bitch that was)
change the diff fluid

Is there anything else I should do? I have been dailying the truck, but it's not my everyday car. I'll drive it a few times a week, but it's mainly just going to be used for towing the track car.

I bought mobil 1 75w140 synthetic gear oil and 4 oz of LSD additive, but mobil 1 says it has the lsd additive in it already. Am I going to hurt anything by using the additive with the mobil 1? Also it looks like the rear cover uses rtv instead of a gasket. Any reason I shouldn't use a vacuum pump to suck the old oil out through the fill hole? It's not leaking now and I do the work in a borrowed garage so I don't really have the time to let the rtv dry.

I'd like to put an aftermarket head unit in the truck, but I don't want to change or remove the Daytona edition bezel around the stock radio. I've been searching but haven't found a clear answer on this. Is there an install kit that allows me to use a din size radio while keeping the factory bezel?

Sorry if these are newbish questions. I've done a lot of work on import cars, but this is my first American truck and I'd like to keep it as nice as possible.

Welcome to the forum,
This forum is full of great looking trucks; packed with great mod ideas and there are loads of knowledgeable and experienced people here.

All questions are good questions here, so just ask away.
I don't know what to recommend with regard to the diff fluid. Normally I would recommend that you use the LSD additive, but under the circomstanses, I don't know what to recommend, other than asking your question the 'Help Zone', so that you have a more focused audience, and will catch the attention of some of the Dodge Tech's that hang out here.

As for the audio stuff, there is a section in the 'Help Zone' for that too, and lots of guys with experience that will help you out.

AND - We all like pix! Got any to share?

Enjoy the Z!

That's the only pic I have right now. Once the weather gets nicer I'm going to give it a full detail and then I'll get some good pics.

This is what it'll be towing:

This is how it sits as of 2 weeks ago with the new paint job (that's the old hood, new one hasn't been painted yet)

And a couple action shots:

Glad you joined us and welcome to the Z for Rams from Baltimore . Thanks for the pics . I'd still pull the cover that way you can take a look inside to make sure everything looks ok . Some of these 9 1/4 inch rears in these trucks were known for the posi units breaking due to lack of gear oil servicing . I think every 15,000 miles . Take a look , just incase . Even if you add the additional additive you'll be fine . Have you done any mods yet or have plans for any ? Any of your friends have a Ram ? Tell them about us . We would love to have them . You will find this site is full of a lot of talented people . So if theres any question that you need answered , just shoot away . Talk to ya soon . Tom
