1800 miles on the odometer, i'm avg 14.2 mpg. 98% of this is driving rural country roads with a few good size hills. we also have only 10% ethenol gasoline here in jersey.

seems you guys in canada get noticeably lower gas mileage than we do here in the states, anyone know why this might be?

15.1 avg up and down hills on back country roads. 18 highway some hills. I do get a little better milage with premium fuel, however I dont think it offsets the high price. About 10% ethanol up here in NY state.

I get better city mileage it seems in my 07 Ram quadcab. I leave early granted so there's no traffic but I usually get 19-20 average on the way to work and back. But when I'm on I-95 just cruising it sits around 15-16 at best. I haven't been on a nice long highway drive with it yet so I'm assuming it would start averaging alot better after 30 mins or so. But overall I'm very pleased with my mileage considering what I expected to get. It's getting as good or better than the 2008 single cab V6 Sierra that I traded in to get it.

I have a 2010 Quad Hemi with just under 6000 miles. About to do my second oil change. I'm in Miami Florida ... mostly city driving, and according to the EVIC I'm Averaging between 10.7 and 11 mpg which I know is terrrible. Using normal oil and 87 grade. Saw no change when I tried super and don't plan to go synthetic either. I did see a nice spike to 13mpg after my first oil change, so I think I'm still breaking her in.

I never use the AC, but drive with windows open (including rear window) open all the time.

I also have a light weight areodynamic bed rack, but I was getting this mpg before I installed it.

I'm going to ask the dealer to look the truck during this next maintenance. Also considering mods to get me closer to 15mpg. Any suggestions? Air filter, exhaust, chip, gear change?

Dispite poor Gas Mileage, I'm thinking about mounting some 325/50/20s and 1/2 inch wheel spacers.. I figure If I'm gonna get terrible milage might as well get aggressive tires.

Default 13 mpg

My 2011 2500 4x4 with fairly large tires seems to be averaging 13 mpg, mostly hwy driving. That's way less than the 19-20 mpg that my 1999 Cummins diesel was averaging. But I keep reminding myself that gasoline is 70 cents cheaper per gallon right now.

I've got a 2009 Hemi Ram 4x4 with 3.55 gears and 20" rims. I can't seem to get more than 14.5 mpg on the highway. How do I tell if the MDS is actually kicking on? At cruising speeds, it still sounds like all 8 cylinders are firing.

Canada: My brother averages 24 MPG (highway) and 18 MPG (city) with his 2010 Single cab long box TRX Hemi with 3.21 gears.
