Default "Ghosting" after debadging?

Searched around on the various forums and couldn't find and answer so I'll ask the question. Thinking about debadging but did anyone have a problem with "ghosting" afterward? If you did, what how did you solve it? Being a 2+ year old truck and a darker color,(flame red), just looking at any problems I might run into.

Thanks for any info.

I recently removed the pinstriping off my 09 Deepwater blue and ghosting is visible if you look close. Gonna give it a go with some cleaner wax and buffer and see how that works out.

Just did a spot by hand for a quick test and it went away. I'm not sure of the brand of wax , it was given to me by a friend that details on the side.

I had it a little on mine and I just used some 3M rubbing compound. Worked great...

3m adhesive remover, you may see it for a day or 2 but it tends to fade into the color, mines white and no signs of previous adhesive

Sorry for my late response but thanks for all the replies. Didn't get the debadging yet but when I do I'll leave an update.

I did my 2011 Ram this week with a Dec 2010 build date.

Ghosting was present on the DWP....using just regular good old Turtle past wax got the ghosting out, looking really close there was still some fading. Now I am no paint expert and learn as a I go. Buy some ScratchX 2.0 It is a diminishing rubbing compound and polish. As you rub the particles in the compound degrade and the compound turns into a polish. It removes ghosting, light scratches, and light swirls. Great stuff. It makes the paint look fantastic. After that stuff and a coat of wax no ghosting will be present.

just did mine today. I did see some ghosting at first. I used some goo gone gel to help remove any adhesive then cleaned the area with a glass cleaner, then clay bar, then polish and lastly some wax.

I know there no the best pictures, i just grabbed the iphone for a couple of quick pics.. I will get the canon out and get some good pics tomorrow maybe.
