I have 26 gallon tank and drive 75% highway with 4X2 3.92 limited slip rear. I get 415 to 430 miles to the tank. I have a bed cover that's only mod. I only put 75 dollars in each fill up because my debit card doesn't allow more unless I swipe it again so with todays gas prices about 21.5 gallons per fill up. So I am pretty happy to get this mileage from my truck. AFE CAI and Magnaflow exhaust coming soon.

26 gallon tank, 4x4, 3.55 rear. This winter I'm averaging between 410-440 miles per tank. I was averaging 480 in the warmer weather, with one tank in September coming in at 512.

I do pretty well; over the winter I get about 400/tank, but over the summer I usually hit around 450-475. (26 gallon tank here)

I also try and drive as conservatively as possible. Yes, like a grandmother

I average 325-350 with the 26 gallon tank. Sometimes I average about 19 mpg but since I alternate working locations, right now I get about 15-17 mpg due to going up and down mountians on Interstate. The most i have gotten on my tank was 417, getting 25 mpg on Interstate going to Pennsylvania for a military school. All cruise at 75mph

I got 305 this tank with the addition of the AFE stage 1 intake. That's a 20 mile difference, and I drove a lot more normal.even floored it a couple times.

I'd bet the farm that I reset the trip miles, and I just turned 506 miles, and I still have a quarter tank. I'm still getting 15, to 18 mpg. I hate the 3.55 gears, but with gas costing more, I might start to like it. Good luck Doug

Driving across the country I was getting about 500 miles to a tank(26 gal) with all hiway. Around town with about 7 miles of hiway I usually get 460 miles to a tank. I run 89octane all the time(costing only $2.60 more to a fill up its worth the extra mileage & performance) mobil 1 eng oil, k&n CAI, iridium plugs & amsoil in the diffs. That's all I've done to improve mileage.

I have never heard of using miles per tank. I don't like to push and I don't carry an extra can of fuel.

The only way to figure fuel mileage is to; fill the tank, drive, fill the tank, devide miles driven by fuel used and bingo, MPG. And you don't end up pushing.

I average about 13/14.5 in town and 18/21 on the road, all depending on given weather and road conditions.
